Student Involvement Mission Statement:
The Student Involvement Office at Fulton-Montgomery Community College strives to provide a holistic program of enrichment outside the classroom that reflects the interests of a diverse cultural, social, and ethnic extended learning community. Our goal is to promote intellectual health, physical wellness, and a personally engaging college experience for every student.
The Student Involvement Office is home to the Coordinator of Student Involvement. The Coordinator of Student Involvement is responsible for the development of a college-wide program of student activities, events, and resources for students. The Coordinator of Student Involvement trains student leaders to assume positions of responsibility in student organizations and prepares them for future leadership positions and offers advisement and support to all student clubs, organizations and advisors on campus.
Student Activities Board (SAB)
This SSA sponsored club of student volunteers plans, staffs, and runs many exciting events and activities on campus. It is their job to provide a selection of cultural, social, informative, and recreational programs that reflect the diversity of the campus community. These events are funded by Student Activity Fees. The Coordinator of Student Involvement is also advisor to the Student Activities Board (SAB).
Student Senate Association (SSA)
The Coordinator of Student Involvement works closely with the Student Senate Association (SSA) in sponsoring leadership training for interested students and cultural events for the campus community. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Student Senate Association and/or Student Activities Board, stop by for information on joining. Elections are held in the fall for most SSA positions. The student trustee is elected in the spring semester.
If student government or the activities board is not for you, the SSA sponsors approximately 30 clubs and organizations on campus. Active clubs include for the 2022-2023 Academic Year include:

Orientation Programs
Orientation Programs for New Students take place before the start of the Fall and the Spring semesters. Information regarding these events are posted on the FM website.
