Art and Digital Design

Media Arts & Digital Technology: This program offers a unique opportunity for students to learn software skills for today’s innovative and creative merging digital technologies.

The program provides a fluent understanding of digital illustration, graphic design, packaging design, digital publishing, branding, digital photography, and studio photography.

Students explore advertising, marketing and business concepts. Graduates acquire digital problem-solving skills for a variety of work flows across current media and social media platforms.

Entertainment Technology: This program prepares and trains students to work in many of the fields of content creation. Graduates will be well prepared for entry-level positions at performance venues, video production companies, game studios, and anywhere else where creative, well trained people are needed to create content. Students will also have the ability to build a portfolio of material that will allow them to freelance, moving from gig to gig in this new creative economy.

Visual Fine Arts/Fine Arts Foundation: This program offers a wide selection of art and design courses to enable students to fully explore creative possibilities while fulfilling all necessary course requirements to move to the next level.

FM provides students with an inspiring and intimate learning environment and cutting edge technology. FM’s 1,200-square-foot Perella Gallery is one of the preeminent exhibition spaces in the region. It exposes students to regional, national, and international exhibitions, and provides a learning experience for students in exhibition design and gallery installation. Students also have the opportunity to exhibit original works in the Annual Student Art Show.
