Job Title: FM Admissions Tour Guide
Training: The Admissions Team will provide training.
Department: Admissions
Job Description/Duties:
Provide tours to prospective students and their families. Talk about your experiences at FM. Participate in online chats.
Days/Hours Needed:
At minimum tour guides are responsible for covering a 1 hour shift a week. Tour guides will be responsible for covering shifts during all Open House programs and possible Saturday visitation programs. As a result of COVID 19, students may be asked to participate in online student panels.
Campus Location/Bldg.: Student Welcome Center, Admissions Office
Required Qualifications:
– Strong communication skills
– Excellent public speaker
– Love for FM
– Ability to relate well to others
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience volunteering with the admissions office
– Experience working with diverse populations
Physical Demands:
– Ability to walk around campus for at least two hours
– Ability to project voice to large crowds
Salary: Current NYS Minimum Wage
