SUNY Fulton-Montgomery Community College and the Johnstown YMCA have developed a stronger relationship that will enhance the collaboration between both organizations. This will include joint programming and annual passes discounted for students, faculty, and staff. At the beginning of our semester, the YMCA will provide all students, faculty, and staff with 2 free guest passes to showcase what the upgraded facility has to offer.
The YMCA approached SUNY Fulton-Montgomery Community College with the goal of providing more community members access to this state-of-the-art facility “This is a great partnership for both our organizations. We all need a place gather for health, mental wellness, and fellowship. The Fulton County YMCA is dedicated to supporting the Fulton-Montgomery College community,” said Johnstown YMCA CEO, Jesus Soto.
SUNY Fulton-Montgomery Community College has been looking for additional ways to strengthen our commitment to building relationships with area businesses that would directly benefit our students. “We are excited to work collaboratively with the Fulton County YMCA to offer opportunities for our current students, faculty, and staff here at SUNY FMCC. We believe this partnership will help provide a holistic, healthy lifestyle at an affordable cost to our campus community while continuing to strengthen our community partnerships,” said SUNY FMCC Coordinator of Student Involvement, LeAnn Pratt.
