FM Commencement on May 20, 2016

Commencement has always been the high point of the academic year, the time when Fulton-Montgomery Community College formally recognizes and congratulates its graduates for their hard work, and their achievement.

The COVID-19 crisis has made a traditional commencement impossible this year, however, FM still wishes to celebrate with our students and their families. Through the generous support of the Foundation of FM, we will be staging a virtual commencement ceremony Friday, June 19, 2020. FM further plans to recognize 2020 graduates as a separate class during the next traditional commencement ceremony, currently scheduled for May 19, 2021.

While it is disappointing to everyone that the traditional ceremony will not occur this spring, this is a necessary decision given the unprecedented circumstances we face. As with all decisions FM has made during these uncertain times, the health and well-being of our entire FM community is our priority.

Graduating students should watch for updates through their FM email account as well as social media and the College website. We will be communicating ways that graduates can participate virtually to make this a memorable and special event.

Everyone at Fulton-Montgomery Community College is incredibly proud of and inspired by our graduates and their achievements. This has been an exceptionally difficult time for us all, and we appreciate the patience, determination, and resolve that you’ve demonstrated.
