FM Customizes Course for Benjamin Moore Employees – Employees of Benjamin Moore in Johnstown recently completed a customized Industrial Electrical Maintenance course at FM. The course covered topics involved with the operation and upkeep of industrial equipment and systems. In the hands-on portion, employees became adept at working with the automated equipment in the College’s Advanced Manufacturing Lab and were able to troubleshoot typical problems they encounter in manufacturing.

Non-Credit Offerings
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Home Health Aide (HHA) – This 120-hour NYS-approved CNA training course is designed as a first step into the healthcare field. Students are trained to work with hospital and nursinghome patients, and in home care. Students successfully passing the NYS tests are certified as CNAs. In addition, successful completion of a 12-hour course immediately following the CNA course provides the additional Home Health Aide designation.
