Congratulations on your acceptance to Fulton-Montgomery Community College! Follow these easy step-by-step instructions to complete the enrollment process.

NOTE:  If you are interested in Nursing or Radiologic Technology you must complete a separate application.  Deadline dates and specific prerequisite requirements apply.

Step 1. Schedule your Writing Assessment

Call the Student Development Center 518-736-FMCC (3622) extension 8140 to schedule your writing assessment. (What is this?)

Click here to complete and submit your Writing Sample and Student Immunization Requirement form.

Students accepted with a foreign high school transcript must schedule and pass an Ability to Benefit test in order to receive financial aid.

Students residing outside Fulton and Montgomery Counties are required to submit a Certificate of Residence.  Click here for more information.

Step 2. Register for Classes

Upon completion of your writing assessment, an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor to select your classes will be scheduled.

If you are a returning student or your writing assessment has been waived contact the Student Development Center at 518-736-FMCC (3622) extension 8140 to schedule an appointment to meet with Academic Advisor. Check out the class schedule by clicking here.

Step 3. Register for Orientation

Student Activities will mail information regarding Orientation.

Helpful tips:

• Complete your writing assessment and reserve your housing right away! Popular classes fill quickly and housing is limited so don’t delay. Contact the Student Development Center to begin the registration process.

• Apply for financial aid early! File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for aid. Students can apply as early as October 15th for the next Fall semester.  Go to studentaid.gov.  Once you have applied, go to MyAid to check the status of your aid at FM.  If you need help, contact the Financial Aid Office 518-736-3622 ext. 8201.
