An in-depth study of the musical score, lyrics, and text of a particular musical, resulting in its production. MUS 111 College Chorus 1 s.h.
Study and performance of a variety of choral literature. The emphasis is on students developing the ability to sing in a group. Special attention is paid to choral phrasing and interpretation. Each semester’s work culminates in a campus performance by the Chorus. May be taken for credit for four semesters. No prior experience with choral singing is required.
