NSF TEPP

National Science Foundation Technical Education Pathways Partnership.

TEPP is a National Science Foundation supported partnership between Fulton-Montgomery Community College & the Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery BOCES Career & Technical Center.

 The main goals are to:

  • Develop two years of project-based high school curriculum (11th and 12th grades) of STEM subjects.
  • Integrate 15 college credits into the above material to create a vertically aligned high school and college program.
  • Adapt coursework in an A. A. S. Electrical Technology program to have a top-down / systems approach to learning the material.  This will be accomplished by developing modules that break down ten consumer products to determine fundamental working principles and how they work together.
  • Create innovative learning environments to support the team-oriented project work.
  • Create a replicable model and disseminate the materials.

The three-year project to create this started in October of 2010.
