Sonnet began her career as Math Instructor at FM in 2009.  Prior to this, she taught at Utah State University Eastern. 

She earned an A.S. from Adirondack Community College; a B.S. in Math from University at Albany, with a minor in both economics and chemistry; and a M.A. in Math from University at Albany.  Sonnet is currently working on her PhD from Utah State University Logan in Mathematics Education with an interest in research areas of technology in the classroom and virtual manipulatives. 

In her free time, Sonnet enjoys cooking, reading, kayaking, and hiking.
