Robert Warner has been a member of the FM faculty for 18 years. He currently serves as the college’s Director of Nursing Program, Clinical Instructor for Mental Health, and Coordinator of Students’ Senior Preceptorships.
For the past 30 years, Robert has been employed as an RN in various capacities including staff nurse in adult medicine, intensive care, oncology, diabetes education, and staff education. He is a member of the New York State Board for Nursing; an election committee member for New York State Nurses Association; and treasurer for Mohawk Valley Nurses Association. At FM, he is a member of the Academic Restructuring Committee, Commencement Committee, and Excellence Committee.
In 2005, Robert received the Ellen Burns Excellence in Nursing Award and in 2006, the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Bob earned an A.A.S. in Nursing from FM; a B.S. in Nursing from SUNY College of Technology at Utica-Rome; and a M.S. in Nursing from SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica‑Rome.
He lives in Gloversville, NY with his wife of over 30 years, Sherry. They have a daughter, Vanessa. In his spare time, Bob loves to spend time at his family‟s camp in Indian Lake.
