Marty Waffle, Associate Professor of Computer Science, began his career at FM in 2000. He teaches five to seven Microcomputer Systems Management courses each semester. He also owns a consulting business, Waffle Consulting, where he offers computer and networking consultation services. Prior to FM, Marty was both the Media Consultant and Program Coordinator for Microcomputer Technologies A.A.S. Program at Utica School of Commerce. He also worked at Bryant & Stratton Business Institute as the Microcomputer Systems Management Program Coordinator.
At FM, Marty serves on the Academic Assessment Committee. In the past, he served as an Academic Advisor and was Team Leader for the National Science Foundation Projects, a New York State Professional Development Collaborative. He has been named to Who’s Who Among Teachers for the past several years; was named “Associate of the Quarter” at Bryant & Stratton; and is a life member of Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society.
Outside of FM, Marty is actively involved in various organizations. He is a board member of Canajoharie Youth Football and a football coach at Canajoharie Central School; a member of the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK); and a member of Siena College’s Alumni Association.
Marty earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Siena College and a M.B.A. from University at Albany.
