JeanMarie Reinke is Coordinator of The Office of Outreach, Retention and Student Success at FM. She also teaches General Psychology, Career Exploration, and has taught and co-developed the curriculum for The Freshman Year Experience course. JeanMarie has had ten years experience working in Higher Education. Prior to working at FM, JeanMarie worked eight years as a Human Resource Consultant, a Mental Health Counselor, and as a Café Manager.
She is a founding member of the Capital Region Leadership Council on Inclusion, which educates and promotes Diversity Initiatives for public and private sector organizations; a member of the Tri County Counselors Association, The FM Intervention and Referral Team, and The New York State Transfer Association Retention Sub committee, as well as a consultant for Tech Valley High School through LCI.
On-campus JeanMarie is active. She is a member of the Civility Committee, an NTP Senate Representative, a former member of the FACE negotiation Team, served as the Chair of the Standards of Academic Progress Changes, member of The Student Affairs Assessment Committee , served as a member of The Enrollment Management Team , Co-Chair of the Founders Day committee 2009 & 2004, the Scholarship Committee and former Advisor of The Black Student Union and Cheerleader Club. She has often been a judge of the FM Battle of the Bands. JeanMarie is also a dedicated supporter of FM athletics. GO RADIERS!!
Outside of the college JeanMarie enjoys her children Leah and Wolfie, boating, skiing, and her animals . Additionally, she has judged the Miss New York State qualifying pageants, been a marathoner for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a small business owner of a woman’s clothing store, and an award-winning local Independent filmmaker. She actively participates in triathlons and other athletic pursuits in the summer months.
JeanMarie has earned a BA degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and a MA from The University at Albany. She is looking forward to perusing her PhD in Psychology.
