Charlene began her career at FM in 2001 as an adjunct instructor. While teaching part-time at FM, she also worked as a teacher in the Johnstown City School District. She taught courses such as Business Law, Career and Financial Management, Keyboarding, and Sports and Entertainment Marketing. She was then hired full-time at FM in 2008 where she teaches Business Communication, Keyboarding, Machine Transcription, Office Systems, and Principles of Business.
Charlene is co-advisor to FM’s Business Club and a member of Amsterdam High School’s Football Booster Club. She is also the Vice President of the Board of Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties.
She earned an A.A.S. in Liberal Arts from FM, a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in English and Psychology from Skidmore College, and a M.S. in Elementary Education with a specialization in Business Management and Administration from Russell Sage College.
