The FM Bookstore was created in 1969 to provide you with the books and other educational items needed for your success. We pride ourselves on obtaining the best quality items at the most reasonable prices to help you stretch your buying power. We offer a wide variety of items for all your course needs. As an extra convenience, we offer greeting cards, stamps and snack items. You can find all the books you need here both new and used. Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you in finding the books that you need. There is no need to buy on-line and pay those hefty shipping costs!

How to Make Purchases
Cash
We accept cash for any purchase.
Checks
We gladly accept checks with proper ID. Please note: returned checks for NSF are assessed a return check fee.
Credit Cards
We gladly accept MC, VISA, Discover, American Express and Debit Cards (processed as credits).
Deferrals
If you have filed all of your paperwork on time with financial aid and the bursar’s office, you will have your book deferral waiting for you at the bookstore at the start of deferrals. If your name does not appear on our list, you will be referred back to the bursar’s office for further inquiry. Deferral dates vary by semester. Deferrals may not be used if ordering on-line.

Fall 2012: August 6, 2012-September 19, 2012
Spring 2013: January 14, 2013-February 6, 2013
**Note: If you are being sponsored, please check with your sponsor to see what types of items they will allow you to defer (ex. Books, notebooks, folders) and if they have sent us your voucher prior to coming to the bookstore.
Textbooks
Your course textbooks can be purchased in person or on-line. To purchase your textbooks in person bring your class schedule along which will identify your course number and professor. If you are deferring your payment with financial aid, please bring your deferral voucher with you. Available semesters for purchase on-line are updated as new information is obtained. Remember, shipping & handling charges apply to all on-line orders. We will gladly special order books for you, please call for assistance.

Buyback
We conduct three buybacks per year. One for Fall semester, one for Spring semester and one for the Summer semester.
Current buyback dates are as follows:
- Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 8:15 am -7:00 pm
- Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
- Friday, May 10, 2013 from 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
We conduct our buyback with Follett used book wholesalers. The value of your used book is determined by the factors below:
You will receive 50% of your purchase price if:
- The book is being used the next semester
- The book is in good condition (highlighting is ok)
You will receive 10-30% of your purchase price if:
- We have met our need for that book BUT the wholesaler feels there is resale value
Your books will have 0% value if:
- The instructor does not request that book for the next semester
- The Publisher changes edition
- Computer software is opened
- We have met our need for that book AND the wholesaler does not wish to purchase
- The book is damaged in any way (such as missing pages, etc.)
- It is a study guide or books with “on-line” cards packaged with the book
Returns
Books meeting the criteria below may be returned within 10 days from the start of the semester during Spring and Fall semester (not by purchase date). During Summer and Winter semester, returns are only allowed the first 3 days of the semester.
Returns must be presented:
- In new condition (if purchased used, must be in comparable used condition)
- Shrink wrapped books must be unopened
- Receipts must accompany the return
**Please note: Cash refunds given for purchases made by check will not be available until 10 days after the purchase date.

If you would like to purchase a diploma frame, please visit the FM Bookstore to see the available frames we have in stock. A variety of frame choices are also available for purchase online.
Computers
The FM bookstore has teamed up with HP to offer students the opportunity to take advantage of some special deals on a wide variety of computers directly from HP. Shop now!
Note: The FM bookstore offers a limited selection of special order computers that may be deferred against your financial aid, if funds are available. This is limited to a few predetermined models and not those on the HP site.
