The FM Bookstore was created in 1969 to provide you with the books and other educational items needed for your success. In January 2014 the bookstore was named The Raider Trader and is being up-dated. We pride ourselves on obtaining the best quality items at the most reasonable prices to help you stretch your buying power. We offer a wide variety of items for all your course needs. As an extra convenience, we offer greeting cards snack items. You can find all the books you need here both new, used and rental. Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you in finding the books that you need.

We are open when classes are not in session, but when the campus is open. Closings follow College Schedule.
How to Make Purchases
We accept cash for any purchase.
We gladly accept checks with proper ID. The name on the check must match that of the ID presented. Please note: returned checks for NSF are assessed a return check fee.
We gladly accept MC, VISA, Discover, American Express and Debit Cards. The name on the card must match that of the person presenting. Unfortunately, we are unable to take credit cards over the phone. However, you are able to make your purchases with your credit card on our website at www.raidertradershop.com and either have the items shipped directly to your home or picked up at the college store.
If you have filed all of your paperwork on time with financial aid and the bursar’s office, you will have your book deferral waiting for you at the bookstore at the start of deferrals. If your name does not appear on our list, you will be referred back to the bursar’s office for further inquiry. Deferral dates vary by semester. Deferrals may be used if ordering on-line.

**Note: If you are being sponsored, please check with your sponsor to see what types of items they will allow you to defer (ex. Books, notebooks, folders) and if they have sent us your voucher prior to coming to the bookstore.
Your course textbooks can be purchased in person or on-line. To purchase your textbooks in person bring your class schedule along which will identify your course number and professor. Available semesters for purchase on-line are updated as new information is obtained. Remember, shipping & handling charges may apply to on-line orders. We will gladly special order books for you, please call for assistance.

During our major book buybacks:
You will receive up to 50% of your purchase price if:
- The book is being used the next semester
- The book is in good condition (highlighting is ok)
You may receive less if:
- We have met our need for that book BUT the wholesaler feels there is resale value
Your books will have 0% value if:
- The instructor does not request that book for the next semester
- The Publisher changes edition
- Computer software is opened
- We have met our need for that book AND the wholesaler does not wish to purchase
- The book is damaged in any way (such as missing pages, etc.)
- It is a study guide or books with “on-line” cards packaged with the book
