Casey Madsen will speak at FM’s 49th Commencement Ceremony

Casey Madsen will speak for the Class of 2014 at Fulton Montgomery Community College’s commencement exercises on Friday, May 16.

Madsen has earned an Associate’s of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology. She plans to enroll at SUNY Albany to study human biology (pre-med). Her goal is to be an interventional radiologist.

While at FM, Madsen has been active in the college community. She serves as the student trustee on the FMCC Board of Trustees. She is a member of the college academic honor society Phi Theta Kappa. For the last two years, she has been awarded Who’s Who in American Junior Colleges. At the Student Government Association meetings, she has been the Medical Imaging Club senator.

She was named a recipient of the Distinguished Student Service Award 2014 in recognition of her service to the campus and community. The award is sponsored by FACE, the college faculty union.

Madsen is the daughter of Bob and Tammy Madsen of St. Johnsville. She is a graduate of St. Johnsville High School.
