On Thursday, February 13, the third graders in Fonda-Fultonville Elementary celebrated The Olympics by participating in FM Connect sponsored events including “Bobsled Scooters,” the “Long Jump,” “Math Triathlon,” “Sock Speed Skating,” and creating Olympic Torches.

FM Connect is a program that ‘connects’ Fonda-Fultonville elementary students to Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Each month, Admissions and Enrollment Management Assistant Mimi Eglin visits one particular grade and works with staff to provide an all-day activity. During the day, she shares messages of the importance of higher education.

To learn more about the program, contact Eglin at mimi.eglin@fmcc.suny.edu.
