Honors Students Gather for Luncheon

December 9, 2013 — FM hosted a luncheon for students in the Honors Program. This Program is designed to meet the needs of students who, because of high academic ability, preparation and motivation, are ready to undertake even more rigorous and challenging academic work than that offered in regular courses. The Program requires students to take an honors seminar and two more honors courses, and graduate with a 3.5 GPA or better. Students in the Honors Program are in the running for scholarships at FM and make themselves noticed when applying to four-year institutions as well as jobs. Honors students who satisfy the graduation and Honors Program requirements will be granted their degree with an Honors Concentration.
