Fulton-Montgomery Community College, in conjunction with FMS Workforce Solutions System and Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, hosted a Job Fair on-campus last week.

“The job fair brought over 55 employers and over 350 job seekers from the FM community and surrounding counties,” said Andrea Scribner, FM’s Education and Career Planning Specialist. “It was great to see all of the interaction between job seekers and employers; it is one of several events that bring community members to our campus. Some job seekers that registered already had interviews set up prior to arriving. This event is valuable not only to job seekers, but to employers as well as it gives them a good pool of applicants. There were some employers that were looking for students to hire for temporary summer positions and those that were looking for permanent, upper level positions within their companies.”
