April 2, 2013 — The Perrella Gallery of Fulton-Montgomery Community College will host the 22nd Annual Regional High School Exhibition with an artist’s reception on opening night, Monday, April 8 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
“This exhibit has become an annual tradition to highlight the artistic achievements of young artists throughout the region in grades 9-12 and will include 79 works selected from nearly 400 works submitted from 15 school districts,” states Fine Arts Professor and Gallery Director Joel Chapin.
This year’s Juror was Kathryn Zajicek, artist and retired Johnstown art teacher. Award recipients will be announced during the reception which is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.
Gallery hours are Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with extended hours until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday or by appointment. The Gallery is closed weekends and holidays. For further information contact Chapin at (518) 736-3622, ext. 8977 or the Perrella Gallery at ext. 8879.
