Fulton-Montgomery Community College’s Perrella Gallery is currently featuring a collaborative exhibition by artist Richard Saba (painter/printmaker) and writer Mary Ashwood (poet) entitled Word/Image. The exhibition explores the interaction of the written word with pictures through more than 40 mono-prints co-created by the artists.

Ashwood and Saba will be hosting a hands-on workshop on the topic of merging the written word with abstract image. The workshop and demonstration will be held at the College on Monday, March 18 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in Room N-109, located in the Fine Arts Department. A large scale painting will be created by participants.
