February 1, 2013
From left (student in red) Noah Batease, Autumn Hardman, Lazinski, Charles Hunold, and Micheala Tucker were given the tools needed to experiment with aluminum (in the form of aluminum foil), copper sulfate, and NACL (salt).
Students in Rick Douglas’ Gloversville Middle School 6th Grade Science Class had the opportunity of being taught by a college instructor for the day. Laurie Lazinski, Chemistry Instructor at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, volunteered in Mr. Douglas’ class to teach students about chemistry and how to create a chemical reaction.
