The Cherry Orchard

November 27, 2012 — Fulton-Montgomery Community College will present “The Cherry Orchard,” a theatre production at the College’s Theatre, 2805 State Highway 67, Johnstown on Friday, November 30 at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 1 at 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m.

According to FM Theatre Arts Assistant Professor Jason Radalin, “The Cherry Orchard” is a masterful mix of comedy and tragedy. Based on Anton Chekhov’s classic play, it is the story of an aristocratic Russian family on the precipice of major social upheaval at the turn of the twentieth century.

Tickets are $5 for students with FM I.D. and $8 for the general public and will be available at the door prior to each showing. You may also reserve tickets by contacting Radalin at 736-FMCC (3622), ext. 3510 or email jradalin@fmcc.suny.edu. Also, follow on twitter at twitter.com/fmcctheatre.
