If you have a child or grandchild in your household this summer who gets bored rather quickly, then FM’s Summer Academy is the place for them! Registration is now open for Fulton-Montgomery Community College’s Summer Academy. Beginning July 9, students entering grades 3 – 8 will have opportunities to participate in workshops and programs such as American Sign Language, cosmetology, fun fitness, scrapbooking, square dancing, video game design, electronic music, arts & crafts, cooking, the magical world of Harry Potter, and much more!
FM’s Summer Academy includes full-day workshops and programs that will run from 9:00 a.m. –
4:00 p.m. If you have early morning plans or need to be at work past 4:00 p.m., FM has you covered! We have an early drop-off option beginning at 8:00 a.m. as well as a late pick-up until 5:00 p.m.
For just $239, your child can participate in a full-day, fun and educational week-long program; be provided a daily lunch with a menu ranging from popcorn chicken to make-your-own nachos as well as macaroni and cheese, sloppy joes, burgers, salad and pizza; and receive a souvenir academy T-shirt.
Full days begin with Session One running from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, lunch from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., followed by Session Two from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Program weeks are scheduled to run from July 9 – July 13, July 16 – July 20, and July 23 – July 27.
